World Renewable Energy Technology Congress 2011

The World Renewable Energy Technology Congress 2011 took place at Le-Meridian, New Delhi from 21st - 23rd April 2011. The theme of the conference was to promote Renewable Energy: Global Technology Cooperation, Innovation and Investment.

The stalls at the conference were very few but had a good mix of publisher, Green Power providers, Technologists etc. The Conference was attended by around 200 Technology Providers, Scientists, Government officials, Managing Director/CEO of various Telecom companies, Institute Directors, Professors
Researcher, Librarians.

Customers were very much interested towards the journals displayed at the stall. Most of them were more inclined towards journals than books. They were keen to know that Earthscan is now a part of Taylor & Francis Group. Most of them were interested to receive sample copy of the journals displayed there, so that they can recommend to the library. One of them also insisted in putting up a fair/stall at their university. Few of them were interested in receiving the catalogue of Journals, UK Originals and Indian re-prints in the form of soft copy.

The conference was a successful and a wonderful experience and it was over almost as soon as it started, or so it seemed. The customers were interested in receiving the regular updates about our new releases. Many of them left their contact details with us. As a result we have got a sustainable good database. We look forward to more challenging conferences in the future.
