Taylor & Francis Group
participated in The 37th International Kolkata Book Fair 2013 from 26 January
2012 – 10 February 2013. The focal theme country was Bangladesh. The
inauguration of the Kolkata Book Fair 2013 was done on 26th January 2013 by Prof Anisujjaman and the Chief Guest was Smt Mamata
Banerjee, Hon’ble Chief Minister, West Bengal.
More than 100 publishers such as Macmillan,
Pearson, Oxford University Press etc participated in the fair and displayed
their books. Local publishers such as script, projapati, katha, Vikalp etc.
displayed the regional language books. Over 1.6 Million book lovers visited the
fair.
