Broadcast event at National Exhibition Centre in Goregoan – Mumbai

Taylor & Francis India had participated in a Broadcast event organized by Saicom – an event management company at National exhibition centre in Goregoan – Mumbai from 10 Oct – 12 Oct 2012. The participants in this event were mainly companies from the camera, sound, film, television, animation, cable and satellite sectors. Entry was restricted through invites only. 

We participated in collaboration with Sterling Book House/Computer book shop. We sold approximately 210 units of Focal press titles which was received from UK. We also displayed other titles brought by our distributors. 

The visitors had come from across India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. We also got the chance to interact with the visitors comprising of film directors, Photographers, cinematographers, music composers, Production companies, Film Animations companies & discuss about new courses being launched in the area of film studies, animations, photography, photoshop etc. Our titles in the field of lighting, 3D Directing, production, Photoshop CS6, Composing music, video & Cinematography and Audio received special interest and popularity at the exhibition.     

Overall our participation in this exhibition served as a wonderful platform to launch our Focal press titles. This event would certainly help in generating more sales in the coming months, it helped us spread the word that Focal Press is now a part of The Taylor and Francis Group which would further impact the sale of our Routledge UK edition titles on these subject areas.
