The Annual Taylor & Francis Picnic took place on 5th March 2012, Monday at the Best Western Resort Country Club near Manesar, Gurgaon (www.resortcountryclub.com).
The day's activities began after we reached the resort and all of us enjoyed the breakfast buffet. We then assembled to meat our activity Coach, Mr. Peter and were immediately divided into 4 groups namely: Jo Jeeta Vohi Sikandar, Baazigar, Dabang & Kaminey.
Activities of the day:
- Badminton
- Long-tennis
- Dodge-Ball
- Relay Race ( started with lemon and spoon race, three-legged-race, Sack race, carry the partner and ended with the barrel race)
- Ball and the Bucket
- Pass the hula-hoop
- Finally - the 'TUG OF WAR'
Each game has respective points between 50-100 awarded to the team that won. After the Tallying the points the winners of the day were 'KAMINEY'.
The day ended with a fun game of Tambola and relaxing by the pool side in hammocks with camel and horse rides and the most important the T&F 'JAM SESSION' before re-assembling towards our buses.
